Brand History

Founded in 1966, Favorit revolutionizes the Italian market thanks to the introduction of polypropylene. Through technological investments, research, design and a strong orientation towards communication, in a short time Favorit becomes a symbol of innovation and attention to the environment.

Favorit was acquired by the Hamelin Group in 1996. This enabled Favorit to expand its network of contacts at European level and taking a more international approach.

Hamelin S.p.A. is born. 2001 is marked by a further important technological investment. The current production plant is opened in Tito (PZ), an ultra modern plant. This plant is certified and able to meet the needs of the entire Italian market and beyond.

The company returns to its previous company name, FAVORIT S.p.A.
From 1 January 2015, the company returns to its previous company name, FAVORIT S.p.A. An important change, which is stronger than the identity deriving from the past. It will contribute to giving positive impetus to the Favorit brand, reaffirming its market leadership.
